Reviews from about the Demonologist

I have to mention a review I read on for this book that I found absolutely hilarious!  The reviewer was scoffing at the humans that think something mysterious, that is "easily explained away", is demonic.

This obviously superior "intellect" calls them "idiots".  He suggested a book by Carl Sagan titled "The Demon-Haunted world", and pitied the ignorant souls who believed in such stupidity.

It must be nice to live in this world and never have to experience the terror of the "easily explainable"?!

Those poor families whose houses were pelted by materializations of stones that rained from the sky down upon their homes, and the terrified folk who had items of furniture teleport, hover and hurled at them! could have been "easily explained away"?! Really?!!!!!

"I have heard this book being read by the one and only Dr. Gene Scott on the Worldwide UNIVERSITY network on shortwave and radio as well as on the satellite. As he read from this book, the hairs on my skin stood up and I got chills. Reality is scarier than anything Steven King can dream up. The world of the unseen, really just another dimension is real. Those that refuse to believe in it do so at their own risk, not just on earth, but forever more. Great, great stuff. Must reading for skeptics. "

"As a youth, the desire to either prove or disprove any popularly held belief was overwhelming for me. Then I read The Demonologist. Sometimes it is better not to prove or disprove. You get more sleep. "

"After working for Ed and Lorraine for many years, I still consider "The Demonologist" one of my all time favorite books. Not only does it tell true-to-life stories, I consider it the perfect handbook / reference manual for almost everything supernatural and preternatural "

Cosmic Codes by Dr. Chuck Missler

My review of this book:  If you think the bible is a dull 2 dimensional view of the world  [as I once did]  you are mistaken.  Cosmic Codes reveals that there is more to this collection of books than I could have ever in my wildest dreams conceived of.  I will forever be indebted to Dr. Missler for his exhaustive research and the passion he pours into this endeavor.  Regardless of your religious affiliation you should read it.   Dr. Missler teaches you how to view the bible outside of our linear construct of time and space, helping you to see it as the multidimensional experience it has always been.   You will never look at the Bible the same way again.

some reviews of this book on

"Probably one of the best reviews on "Bible Codes" crossing several technological and theological arenas (Equidistant Letter Sequences -ELS, micro codes, macrocodes, codes embedded in life - DNA). Excellent introduction to the technical problems and solutions to encoding information and how the problems are solved. How would the Ultimate Mathematician communicate with His creation? Would HE send a message that a man could create? Would HE send a message that had proof embedded to verify HE sent the message (digital signature)? If there is such a set of messages, what is the information in this set of messages? "

"Dr. Missler's book is an amazing study of this phenomenon. This is the BEST book on this controversial issue. It is well researched, scholarly, technical, and easy to read. This book is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! A must HAVE!"

the Facade by Dr. Michael S. Heiser

The Façade deals with topics like Roswell, ufos, aliens, Area 51, Mount Weather, nanotechnology, watchers, ghosts, Project Paperclip, underground bases, Nephilim, HAARP, Bible prophecy, weather manipulation, panspermia, antigravity, men in black, alien abduction, cattle mutilations, global warming, NASA, and so much more.

" Yes, this is a "Fiction" book, but amazingly enough:

some reviews of this book on

" book is a skillful and outstanding weave of fiction and non-fiction. But, make no mistake, I am not talking about disinformation here, with which this whole subject is rife. His sources are well spelled out and can be acquired by anyone. The concept put forth, that the modern ET and UFO phenomena are a great deception that reaches back into antiquity, is not just a fun thing to consider. It is essential to know the truth, and Heiser presents what is probably as close to the truth as one can get with this whole thing. I applaud his work. I am sorry to say it looks like this book is out of print, judging from the high price and only used copies available. I found it in my local library. The only complaint that I would have about it, is that it ended on a huge cliff hanger, and I don't think there is a follow up novel. I encourage anyone who reads this to check things out for themselves. The conclusions drawn by the author are solid ones. "

"What he pulls off is one of the most enjoyable and thought provoking reads I've had since reading the late FR. Malachi Martin's works and Steven Hawking. Heiser knows his stuff and weaves a tapestry of fine storytelling without allowing the story to loose its purpose. I can't wait for his next book and plan on purchasing a copy of his dissertation when he completes that as well. Even though Heiser doesn't have much use for the work of Zechariah Sitchin I highly recommend checking out the 12th planet. The contribution of these two men on our origins and place in the universe is immense. Check it out, open your eyes, and hold on for the ride - you won't regret it."

"For the reader interested in doing more research, Mike graciously filled an appendix with recommended books and website's. Unlike Dan Brown, whose Da Vinci Code is filled with errors that should be obvious to anyone who paid attention in Western Civ, Mike actually did his homework and then built his plot around the facts instead of twisting them to fit his worldview. "

Apollyon Rising 2012 by Thomas Horn

Thomas Horn welcomes you to learn the secrets of the true Lost Symbol (what Dan Brown was looking for and did not find), the forbidden knowledge of the Vatican and Washington DC, and the two-hundred year old cipher hidden in plain site at the Capitol Dome and on the Great Seal of the United States.

My review of this book:

" This book is full of illuminating verity about our founding fathers.  Frankly most of it was astonishing and disturbing. If I hadn't read this book I would not have had access to the correspondences between them [founding fathers] and their peers.  It was a compelling read, I could not put it down.  Gives quite a new outlook to the history of our nation. Far more impressive than Dan Browns sophisms regarding the Illuminati." Rebecca

Some reviews from about Apollyon Rising 2012

"Though the summary of Freemason symbolism and its influence on the United States was very interesting, the most important part of the book to me was the tying together of the same basic message from every major pagan system out there (Freemasons, Aztecs, Mayans, Egyptian mythology, Roman mythology, Greek mythology, Babylonian mythology, Sumerian mythology): 2012 is the climax they've been looking forward to since the beginning of civilization. Prepare to have you mind blown."

"Thomas Horn methodically dissects and analyzes the occult symbolism built into the layout, architecture, and artwork of Washington, D.C. and the Great Seal of the United States, concluding that 18th century Freemasons were aware of and influenced by such varied sources as the ancient prophecies of Apollonian sibyls, Egyptian mysticism, Sir Francis Bacon's utopian novel 'The New Atlantis', and the Mayan/Incan calendar.

"With all due respect to the reviewer who found this book to be a rehash of previously researched material, Horn's analysis of the Mayan and Incan calendars in the context of the Freemasonic symbolism suffusing Washington, D.C. leads him to a startling conclusion: the purpose of the layout of Washington, and especially the Capitol dome and the obelisk of the Washington Monument, is to effect a magickal "working" that occultists believe will result in the rebirth of a golden child -- Apollo/Osiris/Marduk/Nimrod -- who will herald the return of his father Saturn's reign. Hostage to the Devil by Father Malachi Martin

A chilling account of possession and exorcism in modern America.

My review of this book:

"This profound narrative made me so physically ill while reading it that I could not finish the book unfortunately. I would recommend it to anyone who regards the preternatural as fatuousness." - Rebecca

some reviews of this book

"***I only give this book three stars because it is very informative. For those who understand that certain kinds of knowledge carry devastating prices (experiencing war, experiencing rape, experiencing humanity via public services such as police officers, FBI, SWAT teams, social workers, etc) well, this is the book for you. I hope you don't regret it. You may.***"

From the Washington Post

"In the barrage of books on possession and exorcism, this is undoubtedly the most authoritative and convincing."

"Martin's polished contemporary sense of traditional theology entices even the skeptical.... Stunningly pertinent ...Will set you thinking-and thinking-and thinking." -- -- Detroit News

"Martin is above all serious. He is not speaking about madness, about illusions or the irrational, but about the real beyond all reason.... He presents exorcism as ... a titanic clash of wills that threatens the lives, the sanity, even the souls of all attending." -- Newsweek

"The most shattering book on demonic possession isn't fiction at all but Malachi Martin's spellbinding work of interpretive reporting." -- New York (Sunday) Daily News

the Adversary by Mark I. Bubeck

Rebecca's summary of this book:

To defeat an enemy, one must first acquiesce to the existence of that adversary. Once their actuality is recognized, one can come to appreciate who the adversary is and how they operate.   Bubeck penned The Adversary to awaken Christians to the facts, and to bring back to us that our seditionist is very real. He writes that "the church" has been reluctant to even substantiate the existence of Lucifer, much less comprehend his modus operandi and take action towards his down throw. True the vilifier is formidable, the name of Christ and the power of God is truly more sovereign.

Reviews from

"If there was one quick book you wanted to read on the subject of Spiritual Warfare, this would be it. It is to the point on most issues and easy to read. There are several great examples of types of warfare prayers and lists of what to look for as far as spiritual oppression. All in all a must for anyone who feels led to this ministry. "

"The prayers and guidance that Dr. Bubeck provides in this book can truly change your life and the lives of those for whom you pray intercessory prayers. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. "

Overcoming the Adversary: Warfare Praying Against Demon Activity also by Bubeck

Reviews from

"This is an easily read book that teaches the reader how to go on the offensive in spiritual warfare. Using suitable examples of praying against the enemy and directly confronting the enemy (whether for ones-self of as an intercessor for another) "

"The fact that people who glorify satanism give it one star on Amazon should be a clue.  Satan is concerned about this book because it is clear, simple, and exciting. It's a classic."

Biblical Demonology by Merril f. Unger

Rebecca's summary of this book:

Absolutely erudite. Do you wish to banish hellion from your village, or sway to the charismatic, you will be disenchanted. Penned by a cultivated man of God. Scripturally meticulous. Outstanding dissertation on the precept of demonology. If you are investigating infallibility in observance of this universal law, embrace it!

Some reviews from

"As a Doctor of Ministry student and ordained minister in the Lutheran Church, I have found this book to be excellent and well-written. It is thorough and full of incredible information and in depth biblical exegesis behind its ideas. "

"I read this tome about 9 years ago now, and continue to be blown away by the biblical insight of Merrill F. Unger. He tackles a tough biblical subject with a great deal of scholarly wisdom. A must read for those interested in "the spiritual forces in high places."

"This book is an excellent bottom-line Biblical doctrinal guide to demonology. There is much misinformation available today because demonology has become a current subject of fascination.

This book clearly delineates what the Bible has actually revealed on the subject, making it much easier to evaluate all the current myths, legends, urban myths, and experiential conclusions and hypotheses that abound. "
